The Nelson River Aquatic Centre was opened in 2004. The facility boasts a swim area 50 ft in length with depths ranging from 1.1 meters to 2.8 meters. It also has a kiddie pool for young swimmers and a waterslide 10 m in height.
The friendly staff at the N.R.A.C. are available 5 days a week and are able to assist you in booking a private rental for birthday parties or special events.
Programs offered include, Swim Fit, Aquasize, Parent and Tot Swim and Swimming Lessons. Please see the above links for further information regarding our services.
NELSON RIVER AQUATIC CENTRE RULES:

Persons with communicable diseases: colds, open sores, nasal, eye, or ear discharge are not permitted to use the pool.

No person shall run in or around the deck area of the pool or facility.

No person shall bring a glass container onto the deck area or facility.

No Person should engage in play hazardous to other persons in or around the pool or facility.

No diving.

Long hair must be tied back.

Children under 9 years old must be supervised by an adult.

Persons must shower before entering the pool.

No food, drinks, or gum allowed on deck.

No outdoor shoes allowed on deck.

No hanging on ropes.
