Provincial Fire Ban & Fire Pit Permits Suspended
Town of Gillam Council and Fire Chief are suspending all fire pit permits within the Town of Gillam municipality effective 9:00 am May 23 until further notice. The use of outdoor fire pits is prohibited and coal or wood fired cooking appliances should not be used. Gas/propane or electric barbecues should be used with caution. The ban is due to high fire danger and dry, windy conditions, and will remain in effect until further notice.
